Dr. Epstein Facilitates CMS’ CME Accreditation with Commendation by the ACCME (2013-2019)
As Chair of the Colorado Medical Society’s (CMS) Continuing Medical Education (CME) Committee for the past several years (2010-2013), Dr. Epstein spearheaded initial acquisition of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) accreditation for Colorado Medical Society, oversaw the CMS CME committee, staff and ongoing CME approval processes, and in December 2013, CMS was honored and awarded a six year renewal of accreditation status with commendation by the ACCME
Dr. Epstein served as the representative to the ACCME for re-accreditation on July 24, 2013. Under Dr. Epstein’s leadership as Chair of the Colorado Medical Society’s Continuing Medical Education Committee (2010-2013), Colorado Medical Society has been awarded Accreditation with Commendation by the ACCME (2013-2019).
